About me
I am a PhD Student in Computer Science at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign (UIUC). I am a member of CreateLab working with Prof. Yongjoo Park. My current research interests lies within data systems and distributed systems. I did my undergrad at Korea University, where I majored in Electrical Engineering.
During the summer of 2022, I had the honor of being one of the 19 students chosen to be a Student Summer Research Fellow at ETH Zurich. I worked with Prof. Ana Klimovic where I gained valuable experience with academic research. This greatly influenced my decision to pursue a PhD.
I previously worked at Bucketplace as a software engineer, as part of my alternative military service from Jan. 2020 to Mar. 2022, where I worked on building data pipelines, recommendation services, and search services for Ohouse.
